You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
  • If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

6. Restocking Fees

Built for all Impulse 105 kayaks and 2025 or newer Impulse 120 models with threaded stern inserts, this motor mount provides a secure platform for adding compatible stern-mounted accessories without the need for drilling. It is a practical solution for kayak anglers and paddlers looking to install an electric motor, anchor system, or other rear-mounted gear while keeping the setup clean and reliable.

Constructed from 1/2-inch King Starboard marine-grade material, this stern mount bracket is built for long-term performance in harsh outdoor and marine environments. It features twelve brass 1/4"-20 threaded inserts that allow secure and flexible mounting for Newport motors, Torqeedo motors, Power-Pole Micro Anchors, and other stern accessories. The bracket also includes stainless steel mounting hardware, plus spacers for proper alignment on the Impulse 105 model.

This Hoodoo stern motor mount is designed for direct bolt-on installation with no drilling required. It is also compatible with the Hoodoo rudder and steering system, while its UV- and corrosion-resistant construction helps ensure dependable use over time. Hoodoo notes that Impulse 120 owners planning to use both this bracket and the factory rudder should switch from the XL rudder to the standard blade rudder for proper clearance. When using an electric motor such as a Newport or Torqeedo, Hoodoo recommends removing the rudder entirely and steering with a tiller or steering stick for best control. The mount is made in Texas.
